Here are some dog parks in the Vernon and surrounding areas. Dogs are required to be under control at all times and owners are required to pick up their dog's poop. Grey Canal Trail- parking off Blackcomb Way,1.2 km north of the BX Elementary School. Blackcomb Way is currently under construction and will be completed late spring. Until then use the parking lot at Rugg Road or Star Road at the beginning of the BX Creek Trail.
BX Ranch Park- from the junction of 46th Ave & Pleasant Valley Rd, 1.5 km E. on BX Road.
Forest Tree Research Plantation- .9 km north on Bench Row Road, off Mission Road.
Heritage Park Natural Area- unmowed area behind Heritage Park (Bella Vista Rd and Heritage Dr.).
Mutrie Natural Park- east end of 43rd Ave & turn right onto Mutrie Rd.; parking provided.
DND Grounds east of ball diamond #8- East of Diamond # 8.
Creekside Park- between Kalamalka Rd & the creek
Mission Hill Park- 3900 - 15th Avenue.
Pioneer Park- 3501 - 35th Avenue.
Stenquist Park- 9255 Heritage Lane, Coldstream.
Coldstream Valley Estates Park- intersection of Uplands Dr. and Ridgemont Pl. Coldstream.
Marshall Fields Park between Vernon Creek and the playing fields- 6601 Okanagan Landing Road, along Vernon Creek only.
